Monday 11 January 2010: The combined Preston Peak Wines Sprint Challenge and Short Circuit Touring Car Series are to be conducted on 29-30 May 2010, and 23-24 October 2010.

Thursday 29 October 2009: The results of the Preston Peak Wines Qld - NSW Sprint Challenge, Short Circuit Touring Car Series and the Qld - NSW Shoot out held at Stanthorpe on 24-25 October are now available.. The Preston Peak Wines Sprint Challenge class and outright points, and the Short Circuit Touring Car Series class and outright points are available.
25 September 2009: The competitors letter, sup regs and entry form, promotional information, camping disclaimer, and accommodation guide for the first round of the Stanthorpe Qld-NSW Sprint Challenge and the Short Circuit Touring Car Series to be held at Carnell Raceway, Stanthorpe on 24/25 October 2009 are now available. 22 September 2009: Millmerran Auto Club's Dirt Sprint results for Round 2, Round 3, Round 4 and Round 5 are now available
Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club's Dirt Sprint Series results held on 15 March 2009 is now available
Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club's Autocross series results held on 17th May 2009, 19 April 2009, 26 July 2009, and the combined autocross and dirt sprints held on 21 June 2009 are now available.
Leyburn Historic Sprints outright and class results are now available.

20 May 2009: The Competitor's letter, further regs, sprint entry list, and short circuit entry list for the first round of the Preston Peak Wines Qld - NSW Sprint Challenge to be held at Carnell Raceway, Stanthorpe on 30/31 May 2009 are now available.
The combined Qld - NSW Sprint Challenge and Short Circuit meet scheduled for 18/19 July 2009 has been cancelled.

1 January 2009: The Short Circuit Motor Sport Association's annual meeting and election of office bearers will be held at Garden City Tyres, previously Quick Fit Tyres), Corner of Thomas and Neil Streets, Toowoomba on Tuesday 27th January 2009 at 7.30 p.m. sharp. For enquiries please contact the secretary, phone (07) 4635 6997.
Memberships and vehicle numbers are now due, and forms have been either emailed or posted to competitors. Those members / competitors who did not receive a competitors membership application / vehicle number application, officials membership application can either download the application forms or contact the secretary on (07) 4635 6997 and he will arrange the appropriate application forms to be posted to you.

The sprint outright points and class points, 2008 sprint series outright and class points, and the short circuit touring car series points are also available.

28 July 2008: The competitors letter, sup regs and sprint entry form, short circuit entry, promotional information, camping disclaimer, and accommodation guide for the final round of the Preston Peak Wines Sprint Challenge and the Short Circuit Touring Car Series to be held at Carnell Raceway, Stanthorpe on 25 / 26 October 2008 are now available.
The Carnell Raceway consists of 990 meters of hotmix, and is a registered CAMS circuit. We suggest that if you intend competing at the event that you book your accommodation as early as possible, as Stanthorpe attracts a large amount of tourists throughout the year. Please contact the Stanthorpe Information Centre, phone (07) 4681 2057, if you have any trouble problems accommodation.
Competitors please note that vehicles must not record sound levels in excess of 95 dBA measured 30m from the track edge at any time (CAMS Manual of Motor Sport Schedule B Reg 17). No vehicle will be allowed to compete if the noise level is in excess of 95 dBA.

The short circuit and sprints are limited in the entries that will be accepted. To avoid disappointed please get your entries in early.
Please note that this year the Short Circuit Motor Sport Association is conducting a sprint series and trophies will be presented at the Short Circuit Motor Sport Association annual dinner and trophy presentation in November 2008.

11 March 2008: The Short Circuit Motor Sport Association meeting will be holding at Garden City Tyres Plus on Tuesday 18 March 2008 at 7.30 p.m. Agenda items: - Short circuit rules and points score revision, series championship for sprint events, and officials. Everyone are welcome to attend.
23 February 2008: On Tuesday night 19 February 2008 the Short Circuit Motor Sport Association had there annual meeting and election of officers for 2008. Derek Pingel was re-elected as president, and Mark Motson was elected as Vice-President, Fred Berge was re-elected secretary, and Pat Murray was re-elected treasurer, all unopposed. The President's Report is available.
Competitors will be pleased hear that Lindsay Simmons will again be the Series Clerk of the Course for 2008.
A combined short circuit meet and super sprints have been allocated two weekends at Carnell Raceway, Stanthorpe on 17/18 May, and 25/26 October 2008. Another combined short circuit meet and super sprint have been allocated on 26/27 July 2008 at a venue to be advised. Competitors may enter both the short circuit events and the super sprint events. The Short Circuit Motor Sport Association is still negotiating with the circuit promoters for other calendar dates.

January 16 January 2008: The Ipswich West Moreton Auto Club is looking to raising funds for the development of laying hot mix on their 1.2 kilometre track at their motor sport complex at Willowbank Park Raceway.
